This is your chance to be part of something special from the very beginning! The Role : Club General Managers (CGMs) are primarily responsible for the clubs overall performance & operations. This role will be integral in driving a culture of excellence, community, high performance, working alongside our Executive Team, Regional Performance Managers, and Directors. Key Responsibilities: Manage the clubs overall budgets and financials, including Member Movement/Growth, EBITDA, & Retention strategies. Oversee a Big-box style gym with 3000 members, including a Crche, Retail & Apparel store, and Caf. Manage the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring high-quality facilities are maintained. Recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of staff members. Deliver training, mentoring, and support for the Club Department Heads, running weekly meetings to engage & motivate your teams. Oversee staff rostering to ensure adequate coverage, approve leave & manage payroll. Utilize internal software systems including Clubware, Debit Success & Gym Sales to ensure procedures are followed. Plan and execute club events, such as Open Days & 8-week Challenges. Prepare statistical reports & analysis. What youll need to succeed: Experience in a similar role managing a Big Box Gym with more than 20 staff and over 2,000 members. Proven KPI-driven environment experience with a drive to achieve targets and team goals. Ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and help them succeed. Growth mindset with a passion for fitness & sales. Problem-solving skills and resilience. Outstanding communication skills listening, understanding, empathizing, and influencing. Customer-focused with a desire for exceptional outcomes. Ability to be a role model and live by health values and behaviors. A proactive, reliable, and professional attitude with a strong work ethic. Highly motivated, adaptable team player with multitasking and initiative skills. Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems. Ability to communicate policies & procedures effectively. Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain). Australian working rights.
