TFOME management is dedicated to excellence in service and providing outstanding technical opportunities for our employees. We specialize in delivering unique products and services to NASA Glenn. We are currently seeking a Maintenance and Reliability Engineer to manage asset reliability risks impacting facility testing and operations as part of the TFOME contract at NASA Glenn Research Center.ResponsibilitiesFunction of Position: The primary role is to identify and manage asset reliability risks affecting testing and operations at NASA Glenn. You will propose solutions to implement industry best practices for systems related to Operations and Maintenance, support the evolution of NASAs CMMS-Maximo including field mobility, and assist in developing a mature Maintenance Culture. You will optimize work processes and controls using CBM and RCM principles for current and future maintenance practices.You will report to a Projects Manager overseeing Maintenance on the TFOME contract and collaborate with NASA personnel at all levels to ensure equipment is maintained for maximum availability and reliability.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead asset data collection, validation, and job plan development with facility personnel.Baseline current maintenance performance and set improvement targets related to cost, quality, and downtime; work with facility managers to optimize preventive maintenance schedules.Manage asset inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs; improve CMMS documentation including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance data for trending analysis.Develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance processes for mechanical and electrical systems.Identify and evaluate new technologies to improve process performance and equipment reliability, supporting field mobility and connectivity initiatives.Update and improve equipment risk assessments to establish prioritization processes in coordination with NASA and contract management.Analyze data using statistical tools to transition from time-based to frequency-based or reliability-centered maintenance.Collaborate on spare parts inventory planning to meet operational needs while controlling costs.Support advancements in CMMS technology, including bar-coding, mobile operations, and condition monitoring integration.Create metrics reports using CMMS data to evaluate performance and recommend asset replacements or life extensions.QualificationsBachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Technology from an accredited school.At least 2 years of maintenance experience.Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.Experience with CMMS systems, preferably MAXIMO.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Familiarity with RCM and maintenance improvement tools like Asset Criticality Ranking, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, etc.Experience with condition monitoring technologies such as thermography, vibration analysis, ultrasound, etc., is a plus.Knowledge in Business Management, Reliability, Leadership, and Work Management.Certification as a Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is a strong plus; candidates must pass the CMRP exam within the first year if not already certified.Additional InformationSeniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Management and ManufacturingIndustries: Defense and Space ManufacturingReferrals can increase your chances of interviewing at Sierra Lobo, Inc. by 2x.Get notified about new Maintenance Reliability Engineer jobs in Greater Cleveland. #J-18808-Ljbffr
