As part of an Anglican school community, this is a meaningful opportunity to support the safety and wellbeing of students, staff, and visitors while contributing to the smooth daily operations of the school.Your new roleThe School Security Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing all campus security operations. This includes supervising contracted security staff, managing surveillance and access control systems, coordinating emergency response activities, and supporting front-of-house functions when needed.Youll work closely with school leadership, contractors, and the wider community to ensure a secure and inclusive environment that reflects our Christian values and commitment to student wellbeing.Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Will IncludeSupervising day-to-day security operations across campusManaging and monitoring CCTV, access control, and alarm systemsOverseeing the issuing and tracking of physical keys and access cardsLead emergency preparedness planning, drills, and incident responseAct as first responder to campus incidents and coordinate support as neededSupport reception and administrative functions during peak periodsLiaising with emergency services and external agencies as requiredAssisting with safety training and orientation for staff and contractorsWho will the successful applicant be?To Be Successful In This Role, You Will HaveSound experience in a security, law enforcement, or school safety roleDemonstrated experience in supervising personnel and managing operationsCompetence in using and maintaining access control, alarm, and CCTV systemsExcellent communication and reporting skillsHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and integrityA valid NSW Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)An understanding of and commitment to the Schools Christian mission, values and ethosA detailed position description is attached top RHS of advertisement.Applications close: 5:00pm, Friday, 13 June 2025Interviews will commence as applications are received.See here for further employment benefits at SACS: are we?St Andrews Cathedral School (SACS) is an independent, Kindergarten to Year 12 Anglican school located in two high-rise buildings in the heart of Sydneys CBD.
