This is your chance to be part of something special from the very beginning! The Role : Club General Managers (CGMs) are primarily responsible for the overall performance & operations of the club. This role will be key in driving a culture of excellence, community, and high performance, working alongside our Executive Team, Regional Performance Managers, and Directors. Key Responsibilities: Management of the clubs overall budgets and financials, including Member Movement/Growth, EBITDA, & Retention strategies. Overseeing a Big-box style gym with 3000 members, including a Crche, Retail & Apparel store, and Caf. Manage the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring high-quality facilities are maintained. Recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of staff members. Deliver training, mentoring, and support for the Club Department Heads, running weekly meetings to engage & motivate teams. Oversee staff rostering to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours, approve leave & manage payroll. Utilize internal software systems like Clubware, Debit Success & Gym Sales to meet internal communication and procedural standards. Plan, manage, and execute club events such as Open Days & 8-week Challenges. Conduct statistical reporting & analysis. What youll need to succeed: Experience in a similar role - must be a Big Box Gym with more than 20 staff and over 2,000 members. Experience in a KPI-driven environment with a natural drive to achieve targets and team goals. Ability to build rapport with people from varied backgrounds and a desire to help people succeed. Growth mindset, with a genuine passion for fitness & sales. Problem-solving skills and resilience. Outstanding communication skills - able to listen, understand, empathize, and influence. Customer-focused with a desire to achieve exceptional outcomes. Role model qualities, living by health values and behaviors. A positive, proactive attitude with a thirst for learning and growth. Reliability, professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Motivated, adaptable team player with multitasking and initiative skills. Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems. Ability to communicate and uphold policies & procedures. Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willingness to acquire). Australian working rights.
