When that happens, were not only making life better for small businesses, but also building a stronger economy that can change the world.How You''ll Make an ImpactOur GM People Experience (PX) Partnering will serve as both a direct Business Partner to senior leaders and a leader of teams providing Business Partnering and Advisory services across the business. You will report directly to the EGM of Partnering and Organisational Development, playing a key role in developing, embedding, and delivering our global People strategy.What You''ll DoTo thrive in this role, you will love working in the business as well as mentoring, coaching, and growing your team. The combination of leadership, business partnership, and hands-on collaboration requires someone who embraces challenges, competing priorities, and the ability to make an impact.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic Business Partnering support to XLT members and lead the Business Partners supporting your XLT members'' functions and leadership teams.Offer guidance to the Chief Product and Technology Officer and regional leaders on regional issues affecting the Southern Hemisphere, especially Australia and New Zealand.Collaborate with other GMs of PX Partnering to ensure alignment and a one team approach across all Partnering functions, driving strategic business partnering objectives.Work seamlessly with PX Center of Excellence teams (OD, Remuneration, Workplace) across global locations.Identify skills and development opportunities within your team to demonstrate and role model PX capabilities.Serve as a trusted advisor to XLT members, supporting talent management, organizational design, restructures, and more.Support complex ER issues and ensure compliance with employment legislation, partnering with legal teams as needed.Use data analytics to develop solutions, programs, and policies aligned with priorities.Coordinate with Talent teams to meet recruitment priorities and workforce planning.Ensure relevant programs and resources are developed in partnership with COEs.Build a positive employee experience that fosters thriving and improves business performance.Contribute to PX team improvements and support the Chief People Officer and EGM as needed.Proactively manage risks and compliance obligations.Success Metrics:Reputation of the People function as credible, strategic, and efficient.Strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.Trusted advisory relationships with XLT members.Engaged team demonstrating PX objectives.High-quality, timely HR advice and documentation.Positive feedback from stakeholders and legislative compliance.Contribute to a positive culture aligned with Xeros values.What You''ll Bring:Core Competencies:Business Insight, Collaboration, Planning & Alignment, Strategic Mindset, Effective Communication, Managing Complexity, Building Trust.Experience:Leadership in HR within fast-paced, high-performing organizations.Developing people strategies and leading high-performing teams.Deep knowledge of HR disciplines and employment law.Experience coaching senior stakeholders on complex issues.Why Xero?We offer generous leave, health and wellbeing benefits, employee resource groups, flexible working, career development, and many other benefits to support your best work at Xero. #J-18808-Ljbffr
