This is a strategic and hands-on role with full accountability for the design and execution of growth-oriented sales strategies that align with BASF''s long-term ambitions. You will be responsible for evolving sales structures, processes, and systems to enhance customer experience and capture greater market share for BASF Ag solutions across ANZ.Main Responsibilities:Translate strategic goals into actionable plans, optimizing the sales funnel to enable the team to exceed performance targets through disciplined execution and continuous improvement.Build and nurture strategic relationships with key customers and partners to foster engagement, strengthen loyalty, and identify opportunities for joint innovation and long-term growth.Partner with strategic marketing, development, controlling, operations, and technical teams to execute integrated go-to-market strategies with unified messaging and successful product launches.Collaborate with regional teams and communicate effectively with global units to support sustainable business growth.Support the organization''s talent development initiatives by fostering a high-performance culture aligned with corporate HR policies, ensuring leadership excellence and capability growth.Ingredients for SuccessTo thrive in this role, you will need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to lead through complex matrix structures and navigate change and ambiguity.Additionally, you will bring:A background in Business, Science, Agriculture, or a related field, with postgraduate studies in marketing or business viewed favourably.Demonstrated capability in leading high-performing commercial teams, with a focus on coaching, capability development, and results-oriented leadership.Expertise in sales strategy and commercialization, encompassing product management, financial analysis, new business development, product launches, and brand and marketing management.Exceptional communication, influence, and relationship management skills, with a track record of building trust-based partnerships with key customers and industry stakeholders.What we can offer youAt BASF you get more than just compensation.
