Were looking for a category obsessed Head of Global Category Strategy to take our global portfolio to the next level.Youll champion a category first approach, spotting trends before they become a reality and inspiring action to make sure our products stay number one on bathroom shelves (and in beach bags) around the world.If youve got market leading commercial acumen, a love for innovation, and a growth mindset to match our global ambition the Head of Global Category Strategy could be your next glow up.About the roleAs Head of Global Category Strategy, you will lead the creation of compelling and data-driven category strategies that inspire action across the Bondi Sands portfolio, globally.Working cross functionally and collaboratively with key global and regional marketing, category and sales teams, this role focuses on turning insights and data into strategic category stories that influence, and shape total business thinking, enabling regional teams to drive growth with key retail customers.Key areas of responsibility includeCategory Growth Drivers: embed understanding of category growth drivers within the business, partnering with key markets to ensure full and strategic utilisation.Global Market Reporting: report & analyse Circana scan data at the global level, working with key markets to create a regular and consolidated perspective of the market and our performance.Strategic Analysis: lead and present analysis relating to key business questions and initiatives supporting the teams to deeply understand the issues at hand and uplifting capability in the interpretation of data and insights to fuel business decisions.PMR Process: lead the PMR Global process for Bondi Sands - ensuring recommendations and decisions are strategic and data led.Stage Gate Process: contribute to the stage gate process through the provision of category knowledge, competitor analysis, pricing recommendations and shopper insights to drive successful innovation outcomes across all categories.Future Thinking: continuously monitor and identify category and shopper trends and translate these into actionable insights.The Ideal CandidateSuccess in the role will come from demonstrated experience, strong analytical skills and the ability to build and maintain cross functional relationships across the global business.You will have confidence to lead conversations, and influence decision making, assisting teams to execute category strategy with excellence.Our ideal Head of Global Category Strategy will have:10+ years experience in category management/trade marketing/ shopper insights with a clear focus on consumer productsExceptional analytical capability; ability to perform quantitative analysis and be able to place it in the broader context of the business and marketSuperior business & commercial acumen and an ability to understand impact of initiatives across sales & marketingHigh consumer empathy and intuitionExcellent communication skills and executive presence; ability to work closely with and influence all functional areas of the businessAdvanced Excel & PowerPoint skillsBeauty FMCG experience is desired / will be advantageousAbout usAustralian made, and globally loved, Bondi Sands offers an award-winning range of tanning, SPF, and skincare products to customers all around the world.
