You''ll lead a dedicated team of Supervisors and support staff, empowering them to achieve new heights.What You''ll Be Doing:Operational Excellence: Oversee all warehousing, dispatch, and transport activities across metro and regional WA, ensuring we consistently meet or exceed service levels and DIFOT targets. You''ll develop and execute weekly and monthly operational plans, managing labour, fleet, freight, and equipment needs.People & Performance: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. You''ll set clear expectations, provide constructive feedback, and uphold operational SOPs and workplace standards with consistency and accountability.Financial & KPI Management: Take ownership of the Distribution Centre''s operational budget, including transport costs and consumables. You''ll monitor and manage warehouse and delivery KPIs, reporting regularly to executive leadership, and ensure inventory accuracy through regular stocktakes and cycle counts.Continuous Improvement: Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, gaps, and inefficiencies. You''ll design and implement initiatives that boost productivity, accuracy, and service levels, partnering with national teams to drive systems adoption and automation.Stakeholder Management: Act as the vital link between site operations and internal stakeholders. You''ll also build strong partnerships with external transport providers to enhance reliability and cost-effectiveness.What You''ll Bring:Experience: A minimum of 4 years in a senior warehouse/logistics or DC leadership role, with demonstrated experience managing both warehousing and outbound transport in a multi-product environment (e.g., doors, timber, panel, hardware).Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams through change, uplifting culture, safety, and performance.Knowledge: A strong understanding of warehouse systems, process optimization, and inventory control principles.Financial Acumen: Sound financial skills and experience managing budgets and operational KPIs.Prior experience leading a site through transformation or operational restructuring.Experience with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations and WHS frameworks.Familiarity with lean warehousing practices and 3PL/transport contract management.If you''re a proactive and results orientated Distribution Centre Manager ready to make a significant impact and lead a team to achieve operational excellence, we encourage you to apply!
