In this critical role as the Director Land Use Outcomes you will be responsible for leading Transport for NSWs interface with key infrastructure and planning agencies and ensuring transport for NSW is connected to, influencing and aligning with key state planning programs for land use, and infrastructure as well as housing and industrial lands.You will be the interface between the branch and the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructures (DPHI) strategic land use planning function and work in an agile manner to build expert and expand the planning development teams.You will lead a team in the development of the transport response to land use plans for NSW which is aligned with the NSW Governments Transport strategy.Some of your areas of focus in the role will be: Leading the future development and delivery of strategic and transport, property, and land use plans to optimise outcomes for NSW Embedding a collaborative culture across government that enables co-design of strategic plans, and involves early engagement with stakeholders from the community, industry, transport operators, land use and infrastructure agencies. Providing government with strategic advice on investment priorities including integrated, outcomes-based business cases for city shaping and state shaping transport initiatives.
