We''re looking for an Editorial Assistant to join our dynamic Sydney team, supporting our editorial and social operations while learning and growing in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. You''ll be at the heart of our content engine, gaining valuable hands-on experience across multiple digital platforms.Here''s some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:Load and tag content in our CMS, ensuring posts are properly formatted and optimisedSelect and source appropriate images, videos and podcast embeds for articlesCreate engaging social assets for Facebook and Instagram that drive audience growthSchedule and post content across our social media platformsWrite stories when assigned and pitch fresh, on-brand ideas dailyModerate comments and engage with our passionate communityPrepare EDMs and monitor databases to drive trafficSupport the editorial, social, video, podcast and audience development teamsNow, a bit about youYou have tertiary qualifications in Journalism, Media, Communications or a relevant fieldYour written and verbal communication skills are excellentYou possess a solid understanding of social media platforms and digital content trendsYou''re a creative and collaborative thinker who brings fresh ideas to the tableYou''re self-motivated and thrive as an enthusiastic team playerYou can problem-solve effectively and manage multiple deadlines with easeYour organisational skills and attention to detail are exceptionalLife at MamamiaWe''re fast-paced and innovative, with a collaborative culture when it comes to industry-leading strategies and ideas.We''re small enough that you can create real and tangible change, and have your voice heard, and large enough that we can support your ideas with experienced, industry-leading teams, and deliver them to an audience of millions of women every month.
