Our partner is a renowned and prolific hospitality group with an established portfolio of innovative restaurants. We are now seeking a Head Chef with a strong background in leading contemporary, high-volume kitchens, and fluency in modern Japanese cuisine, including sushi and sashimi.The Head Chef will:train and mentor the culinary team to understand and appreciate the ingredients, techniques, and flavours;ensure proper preparation and staffing for each service;execute dishes at a consistently high standard;manage food & labour costs whilst setting and achieving financial targets;foster an inspiring, positive, and productive work environment;work closely with the FOH team to ensure seamless, exceptional service;collaborate with the marketing team to promote the restaurant and showcase special events and offerings.We seek individuals with:a passion for Japanese cuisine;exceptional knowledge of Japanese ingredients and flavours;3+ years of Sous Chef/CDC/Head Chef experience in established, reputable restaurants in major cities (N.Y., L.A., Tokyo, London, Vancouver, etc.);experience working in high-volume operations (150+ covers daily);ability and passion for training, coaching and mentoring a diverse culinary team;a knack for creating exciting dishes that appeal to a wide audience;an innate pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement.What''s on the table:A competitive salary package;A suite of benefits, including medical and dental insurance;Relocation support and visa sponsorship (for overseas candidates);Long-term career progression with an established, growing company. #J-18808-Ljbffr
