Learn more about living and working in Southern NSW.What We OfferSalary Packaging up to $9k for living expenses + $2.6k for meals & entertainment + Novated leasingCorporate Health and Fitness program11.5% Superannuation on top of gross incomeAnnual Leave LoadingWork Location BenefitsEnjoy the lifestyle benefits of country NSW, with access to beaches, ski fields, and proximity to Canberra and Sydney airports.Role ResponsibilitiesThe Community Mental Health Clinician provides recovery-focused clinical services, including assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison, and review, as part of a multidisciplinary team for older people with mental health issues or behavioural symptoms of dementia.Selection CriteriaQualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Psychologist, or relevant qualifications for Social Workers, Counsellors, or Welfare Officers with professional membership eligibility.Experience in Older Persons Mental Health, including assessments and evidence-based interventions.Understanding of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007).Knowledge of mental health rehabilitation and recovery principles, with a collaborative, strengths-based approach.High-level communication skills and computer literacy.Current unrestricted drivers license and willingness to travel as required.Additional RequirementsThis is a Category A position requiring compliance with NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015, including proof of vaccination against influenza, especially for roles involving aged care facilities.Applicants must be Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or have a suitable Temporary Visa to work legally in Australia.
