The Role We are looking to employ competent Rubber Liners and Belt Splicers for residential positions at Port Hedland, Bunbury, and Kalgoorlie locations. Our personnel require a can do attitude without compromising on safety, with a desire to be part of a unique team that is continually improving and growing in this niche industry, aligned with the values of Thejo Australia. The primary tasks and duties include: Supply and Installation (hot and cold splicing) of Steel Cord and Fabric conveyor belts Maintenance and repairs of Steel Cord and Fabric conveyor belts Ceramic and Rubber Pulley Lagging of conveyor equipment, both in situ and in the workshop Inspections and audits of conveyor systems Skills & Qualifications Experience in Steel Cord and Fabric Belt Splicing Valid Australian C Class Drivers License Working at Heights (within 2 years) Confined Space Entry (within 2 years) Ability to work various schedules, including on-call, day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays Ability to pass National Police Check, Pre-employment Medical, and regular LDAS Minimum 5 years experience in tools splicing belts Experience with steel cord and fabric belt splicing - hot and cold Assembly of vulcanising equipment Certificate III or IV in Polymer Technology (or equivalent experience or working towards) Valid Australian HR Class Drivers License Elevated Work Platform Dogging and Rigging First aid certification Fire extinguisher (first responder) MSIC Experience on shutdowns Why join Thejo?
