This is an in-office position based out of our Melbourne, Australia office located in South Melbourne, close to the Central Business District (CBD).Who We AreWherever there is legalized gambling, jurisdictions have a set of regulations by which manufacturers and operators must adhere to. We offer competitive salaries, top-notch benefits and a company culture focused on employee development and career enhancement.What You Will Accomplish HereThe Administrative Assistant will be working independently to support the local team members in Melbourne, as well as our Executive team in the APAC region (3 offices in Australia). You will have an opportunity to collaborate closely with leadership to support administrative duties within the offices, and on facilities, business development, and event initiatives. We are seeking someone with a foundation of experience that is comfortable working as a sole administrative resource in a location.Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assists with professional and personal administrative tasks for the local team and executives in the APAC region, such as composing correspondence and compiling documents.Assists with shipping for domestic and international mailings (FedEx, etc.)Assists with travel coordination.Completes scanning, filing, data entry, and faxing, as requested.Provides general information, answers questions, and directs individuals to appropriate parties, as necessary.Answers, screens, and forwards incoming phone calls.Assists with daily mail and deliveries.Maintains the office facilities, including coordinating and scheduling external vendors (electrical work, heating and air conditioning, etc.), as needed.Coordinates with other departments to ensure smooth office operations.Coordinates and assists in the preparation of meetings, presentations, and reports, as assigned.Collaborates with global teams, including the client services department, to support business development plans or specific initiatives.Interacts with clients and third parties in a professional manner, including greeting visitors, providing tours, and sending correspondence.Assists with completing expense reports, as assigned.Participates, as assigned, in tradeshows, conferences, and roundtables.Creates and shares updates and reports, as assigned.Performs special projects, as required.Performs other duties as assigned.Experience, Education, Skills, and Credentials:A minimum of two (2) years of previous experience in a related position is required.Proficiency using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is requiredMust be able to work independently.Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak English fluently to communicate with other members of the team and clients.Must have the ability to handle and organise multiple projects and deadlines.Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.Location: This is an in-person, full-time position based out of our Melbourne office.Schedule: Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.Travel: Up to 10% travel may be required, to other Australia office locations or to events.This advertisement should not be interpreted as all-inclusive; it is intended to identify major responsibilities and requirements of the job.
