You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of your fellow Coordinators, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager and the OSHC Manager.As The OSHC Coordinator You Will Be Responsible ForThe development of quality programsManage the day-to-day running of the programsCoordinate staffing and rosteringEnsure compliance with policyUndertake administrative requirementsWork collaboratively with families and the school communityAs The OSHC CoordinatorYou will be an experienced CoordinatorYou have Completed (or close to completing) a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Childrens Services)You have sound experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcareYou thrive in delivering Excellent customer serviceYou have excellent verbal and written communication skillsYou have a valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or the willingness to obtain themYou have a current Blue Card, or the willingness to obtain oneAbout The TeamYMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before school, after school and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland. We are the fastest growing OSHC provider in the South East, which in turn provides our staff with the ability to grow and move through the company as their careers head to the next level.About Your Workplace At The YYMCA Yugumbir Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service is located at the Yugumbir State School in Regents Park. The service is licensed for 150 children per day and operates from 6am to 9 am in the morning and 3pm to 6pm in the afternoon during school terms. We also operation during school holidays for Vacation Care (6am to 6pm).The service has access to multi-functional rooms and playground area offering a wide range of fun, stimulating and diverse programs that reflect real world experiences and home settings. This helps encourage a sense of community amongst our children, facilitates leadership skill development and allows children to practice social skills in a supported and caring environment.Programs and activities are aligned with the YMCA Mission to provide opportunities for children to grow in body, mind and spirit underpinned by our values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility.
