About the roleAs a Senior Draftsperson at StraBe Group, you will play a pivotal role in the design and manufacturing process, using your expertise to transform architectural furniture plans and designs into detailed, accurate technical drawings. Based in our Albury, NSW office, this full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of exciting commercial and nation building projects, working closely with our talented team of designers, architects and engineers.What you''ll be doingProducing high-quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings and documentation to support the design, manufacturing and construction processInterpreting design briefs and conceptual drawings to create detailed, compliant construction documentationCollaborating with the design team to resolve technical queries and ensure designs are buildableMaintaining and updating drawing libraries, templates and standardsProviding training and mentorship to more junior drafting staffEnsuring all work meets relevant building codes, regulations and industry standardsCommunicating with stakeholders including landscape Architects, builders, councils, design teams and internal staff.What we''re looking forMinimum 5 years'' experience as a draftsperson in the architectural or engineering industryProficient in the use of CAD software Solid Edge 3DExcellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, compliant technical drawingsExperience interpreting design concepts and translating them into buildable documentationEffective communication skills to liaise with designers, project managers and contractorsDemonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative teamWhat we offerAt StraBe Group, we are committed to providing a supportive, flexible and inclusive work environment that empowers our talented team to thrive.
