We''re proud to be a progressive and open-minded university, delivering the highest student satisfaction in Victoria and consistently ranked in the top 1% of the world''s universities.About the role:The Coordinator, Research Education, Digital Environments is responsible for assisting in the provision of researcher training and development activities for graduate researchers and academic and professional staff to expand their research capability through ongoing development as part of Deakins research training and researcher development programs. This includes planning, developing and delivering high quality training, program and event management, and program evaluation and analysis to ensure optimal investment.As a Coordinator, Research Education, Digital Environments you will:Lead or support development and implementation of researcher training and development activities by designing evidence-based programs that support researchers in skills development and knowledge acquisition.Engage with researchers, graduate researchers and stakeholders to identify and implement practical, accessible training solutions based on development needs.Plan, design and develop e-learning and other materials in close cooperation with the researcher development team, key internal and external stakeholders, and product vendors.Analyse and monitor the effectiveness of existing researcher programs, including interpretation of performance data and survey responses, and work in partnership with key stakeholders to identify new opportunities to grow researcher capability.Promote and support the use of e-learning and knowledge management platforms for developing and delivering online training programs.Maintain the Researcher Development Academy''s e-learning systems and platforms, collaborating with the Digital Services team and other relevant university stakeholders to ensure alignment with institutional policies and standardsTo be successful, youll have:Completion of a Degree with subsequent relevant work experience; orCompletion of a Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; orAn equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/trainingExperience as a researcher or in a research environment, or in researcher or academic developmentExperience and knowledge in designing educational resources and learning environmentsExperience in the use and support of e-learning and knowledge management platformsHere''s how to apply:Please submit your updated resume and a cover letter outlining your relevant skills and experience.For enquiries regarding this role, please contact pvc-rd@deakin.edu.auFor a copy of the position description, please see below:Coordinator Research Education Digital Environments_HEW 7.pdfApplications for this position close on Thursday, 19th of June 11.55PM.Are You Ready?Deakin is a Victorian university with a global impact.
