Located five kilometres south of Muswellbrook in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales, Mt Arthur Coal is an open cut mine, producing thermal coal. About The Role Thiess is taking Expressions of Interest for experienced Mining Supervisors / Open Cut Examiners at the Mt Arthur South Project located in Muswellbrook. The Mining Supervisor / OCE will provide effective production and safety leadership to the project production crew, ensuring that production targets are met, a safe and healthy workplace is maintained, and community & environmental compliance is adhered to. Duties include, but are not limited to: Champion safety management plans & procedures Effectively communicate with other departments Lead and develop the crew Ensure production targets are met Conduct toolbox talks and shift prestart talks Conduct statutory inspections of the open cut operation About You You are a high-achieving and focused OCE with previous experience in a similar role. You are committed to driving a high-performing and inclusive team.
