Our Mission is to promote the dignity, life and spirituality of older people through connected and inclusive communities.A new 6 month contract opportunity is now available for an experienced Revenue & Billing Officer with exceptional communication and customer service skills, to join our large finance team at our Corporate Head Office.In this role, you will be responsible for managing the revenue for our business unit through financial administration processes. Your primary focus will be on Medicare payment reconciliation, end of month billing as well as maintenance or clients accounts.Your proactive approach, high attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders will aid your success in this busy position.Your primary responsibilities will include;Completing monthly billing for clients, brokerage agencies and direct debitsReviewing and lodging monthly Medicare claims and CW unspent FundsProcessing client movements including admission, discharge and leaveProcessing refunds and exit payments in accordance with the established procedures, Government guidelines and timeframesReconciling Medicare payment statements and adjusting any variationsGenerate brokerage statements and prepare unspent balance calculationsMonitor and respond to Shared MailboxPromptly and accurately managing the day-to-day accountsTo be successful for the role, you will have:Experience in a similar position within Aged Care (highly desirable)Accounting Qualification or similar (desirable)Proven experience using software systems and online portals including Procura, Axapta, Medicare Online ClaimingExcellent customer service, communication skills and problem solving skillsWillingness to obtain a Police CheckWhat we can offer you as an employee of Catholic HealthcareNot-for-profit tax benefits - pay less taxFitness Passport - discounted gym benefitsPaid Parental leavePaid Family leave, additional days off each yearLong Service leave after 5 yearsA values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgroundsIf youre looking for a role where you can make a positive impact in a rewarding organisation like ours, wed love to hear from you .Apply online now!Catholic Healthcare acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we live, work and dream.
