Our teams work together and support one another to achieve individual, team and firm-wide goals.Backed by a national team of over 400 staff located in Brisbane and Sydney, McCullough Robertson is a big firm, without the attitude.The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Administrator to join McCullough Robertsons national team.Reporting to the Head of Human Resources in Sydney, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality administrative support to the HR team across the Sydney and Brisbane offices. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with all team members, supporting the delivery of key HR functions across the firm. This position is varied and fast-paced, where no two days will be the same.Key duties will include Contributing to HR operations by preparing documentation such as probation confirmations, parental leave letters, salary packaging letters, further education agreements, and change of role or salary letters; Assisting the Human Resources Coordinator with onboarding new starters, including conducting references and police checks and setting up new employees in the HRIS; Partnering with the Learning and Development Executive to coordinate the firms L&D programs and events, including room bookings, catering requests, and calendar appointments; Supporting the coordination of the firms national clerkship and graduate programs, including preparing employment agreements, drafting internal communications, and assisting with onboarding logistics; Assisting with the coordination of staff gifts and recognition initiatives on an ad hoc basis; Maintaining HR records and documents across our HRIS and OneNote systems, ensuring accuracy at all times; Coordinating travel arrangements for the HR team and new starters where required; Managing credit card reconciliations and proactive diary management;; Providing reception coverage support as needed.ExperienceThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Human Resources graduate ready to kickstart their career, or a Human Resources Administrator eager to build their skills in a professional services environment. As the successful candidate, you will hold tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline or bring equivalent demonstrated experience in a similar role.Success in this role will require highly developed verbal and written communication skills and excellent time management capabilities, enabling you to manage competing priorities effectively.
