Onethat is equitable and prioritises learning and wellbeing.Together we will make our education system the best it canbe.When our children and young people thrive, so do our communitiesand our state.About the role:The Learning and Teaching Directorate is responsible for thecoordination and leadership of contemporary and contextualisedlearning design guidance and practice to improve the capability ofteachers to design meaningful and challenging learning in theirlocal context.The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning,coordinating, monitoring and reporting on agreed projectimplementation activities, milestones and key performanceindicators; and coordinates cross divisional multidisciplinaryproject support, input and advice from the department, contractorsand other external stakeholders.The Senior Project Manager works within a highly complex andpolitically sensitive strategic and policy environment, supportingthe strategy implementation lead, project sponsors and teams withgovernance, planning, stakeholder engagement activities,procurement and contract management.About you:StrategicLeadership - High level experience providing executivelevel support to key stakeholders through research, strategydevelopment, and policy implementationCommunication - Exceptional verbal and writtenskills with proven ability to influence, negotiate, and managesensitive issues while maintaining strict confidentialityProjectManagement - Demonstrated success leading complexprojects, managing resources and contracts, and deliveringadvisory services in demanding environmentsGovernance - Extensive experience developingand evaluating business, financial, and governance frameworksthat align with strategic organisational goalsKnowledge - Strong understanding of governmentbudget processes, financial and HR management, and changemanagement principlesQualifications:Essential: NilDesirable: Relevant tertiaryqualificationsSpecial conditions:The successful applicant is required to gain a Department forHuman Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior tobeing employed which is required to be renewed every five yearsbefore expiry.
