You will drive structural integrity, ensure compliance with industry standards and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, cost-effective and high-quality structures. You will have a strong technical foundation and a proactive problem-solving mindset.Key ResponsibiilitiesLead structural design reviews, procurement and installation on site, ensuring compliance with Australian standardsDevelop and approve structural packages, aligning with project specifications and feasibilityConduct site assessments to ensure structural integrity and construction suitabilityApply advance structural analysis to optimize construction methodsPrepare and review technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and complianceManage budgets, contracts and procurement, optimising financial efficiencyLead quality assurance, providing training and oversight to uphold construction excellenceDrive a safety-first culture, conducting structural construction and component related risk assessments and implementing preventative measuresCollaborate with project managers, architects and other site teams for structural integrationLead technical discussions, providing expert guidance to teams, contractors and clientsKey RequirementsDegree in Structural or Civil Engineering (accredited by Engineers Australia if obtained overseas)Over 7 years experience in structural engineering across design review, analysis and execution of large-scale projects with at least 3 years in AustraliaProficiency in MS Office, BIM and project management software (e.g Procore)PMP certification is a strong advantageAbility to oversee structural engineering from design review to completionAbility to idently and implement efficient solutions in structural design and executionThis role is based at either Northern Beaches or Macquarie Park offices. The project is located overseas in the Solomon Islands.
