The company has grown significantly through recent mergers and acquisitions and continues to pursue both inorganic and organic growth strategies.Key Responsibilities:Development and maintenance of detailed financial models, including:Life-of-mine (LOM) financial modelsProject financing modelsBusiness and asset valuation modelsStrategic options modellingGroup corporate cash flow forecastingCapital management and cost of capital analysis (including WACC and CAPM)Valuation modelling and financial due diligence for:M&A opportunitiesDivestmentsCapital investment assessmentsSensitivity and scenario analysis using DCF and benchmarking techniquesPerformance analysis of capital and operational expenditure, including:Business case evaluation using NPV / DCF / IRRPost-implementation reviews of major capex projectsContinuous business improvement assessmentsDevelopment of scenario-based models and internal case studiesPreparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholdersMonitoring and reporting on key business and operational performance indicators (KPIs)Supporting compliance with internal governance, security, confidentiality, and trading policiesCollaborating closely with senior executives, including:Reporting directly to the CFOSupporting the Financial Controller on accounting tasks including month-end processes and statutory reportingAd hoc duties as requiredQualifications & Experience:Proven experience in a similar Business Analyst / Commercial Analyst role, ideally within the mining sectorExperience multi-commodity or broader resources exposure is welcomeTertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce is essentialCFA qualification preferred, though CPA or CA will also be consideredHigh-level proficiency in financial modelling, Excel, and financial analysis toolsDemonstrated ability to work independently and collaborativelyExperience interacting with executive teams and external stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skillsSound commercial acumen and a strategic mindsetFull Australian working rights requiredStephen''s HeroesWant to be part of an elite candidate pool representing the top 1% of the immediately available market?Keen to help ''save'' any business at a moments notice?Reach out to Stephen Lutman (ACMA, CGMA)0406158574Stephen@psgaus.com.au #J-18808-Ljbffr
