Our expertise includes ground structures, bridges, associated infrastructure assets, foundations, shoring, and temporary structures.We serve a diverse client base, including local authorities, infrastructure asset managers, and construction companies. Our range of services encompasses structural and geotechnical design, infrastructure asset condition assessment, project management, and structural and vibration monitoring.Due to continued growth, we are searching for a Project Engineer to join our team.We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to act as a key interface between our internal design teams and external stakeholders. This role requires someone with strong organisational skills, a deep understanding of basic design principles, and experience coordinating across interdisciplinary teams such as geotechnical, drafting, and structural design.Key Responsibilities:Liaise between internal teams (design, geotechnical, structural) and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables and ensure that client requirements are translated into designs.Coordinate project schedules and track progress, ensuring adherence to delivery timelines as well as attending project meetings and providing updates on project milestones.Conduct inspections and assessments of infrastructure assets, including bridges and wastewater facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Prepare detailed inspection/condition assessment reports, analysis, and recommendations based on findings.Oversee control of all project documents, including sharing emails, progress reports and technical documentation.Monitor project budgets and invoicing, reporting on financial performance to ensure alignment with project goals.Assist with project compliance and quality assurance across various disciplines.Minimum RequirementsTo be considered for the role, you must have4+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or Co-ordinator within a design office or consultancy environment within Australia, preferably involving infrastructure assets and/or multidisciplinary projects.
