An outstanding prospect is available for a dynamic, highly motivated, energetic, and self-directed CSSD Manager looking to progress in their career and join the CSSD Department at a private hospital in Darwin.ABOUT THE ROLEAs the CSSD Manager, your responsibilities will include:Over-seeing a high standard of evidence-based sterilization services to the operating theatre and other clinical departments within the hospital;Adhering to Australian College of Operating Room Nurses (ACORN) standards;Planning, assessing, implementing, and evaluating the cleaning, sterilization, and packing of hospital instruments;Providing clinical leadershipproviding direction, support, supervision, teaching, and specific clinical specialty direction for CSSD Technicians.REQUIREMENTSCertificate III or IV in Sterilisation;Minimum 35 years experience working in a senior role within a CSSD;Sound knowledge of accreditation standards ACHS/AS/NZ 4187 Standards and HICMR;Demonstrated ability to show leadership and work with a diverse team;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail;Intermediate computer literacy skills, including MS Office and various databases;An interest in promoting best-practice patient care;A focus on professional development.ABOUT THE FACILITYThe hospital, located in Darwin, is a licensed 122-bed facility providing a broad range of multiday and day surgeries, including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Urology, Gastroenterology, ENT, and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.APPLICATION PROCESSIf this aligns with your career goals, click "APPLY" to submit your application, including your most recent CV.
