It also involves ensuring the safe operation of the plant and the production of quality products meeting customer specifications.Your key responsibilities will include:Setting responsibilities, goals, and objectives for all manufacturing staffOperating the plant in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standardsDeveloping and promoting a safety culture and providing proper trainingEnsuring the plant produces quality products aligned with customer needsProposing and implementing manufacturing structures to achieve goalsDeveloping production plans and managing contractors and costsImproving injury management and risk mitigationDriving cultural change and performance across the siteImplementing performance assessment and training matricesNegotiating enterprise agreements to support productivity improvementsDeveloping process control systems for automation and optimizationOverseeing commissioning and startup of new process unitsEnsuring reliable and efficient plant operationsManaging procurement, warehousing, and distribution of finished goodsYour skills and experienceTo succeed, you should have:Extensive experience in senior plant managementProven leadership in change initiativesExpertise in LEAN and continuous improvement methodologiesExperience negotiating enterprise agreements and resolving employee disputesStrong leadership and change management skills with a collaborative approachSolid understanding of risk management and safety leadership #J-18808-Ljbffr
