Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Services_EAPA team in Australia .Your main tasks and responsibilities:Manage end-to-end project delivery from contract handover through to closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.Coordinate internal teams and external vendors, maintaining alignment through effective stakeholder engagement and communication.Apply structured project management processes, including gate reviews, scope management (CMR), and performance monitoring tools.Proactively identify and report project risks, implementing approved mitigation strategies as required.Support the development of cost estimates for new opportunities by contributing to cost models, documentation, and stakeholder consultation.Build and maintain strong client relationships, participating in regular project reviews, reporting cycles, and client meetings.To succeed in this role, you will need:Qualification in engineering or extensive site-based supervisory experience delivering complex projectsOver 10 years'' experience in heavy industry, specialising in rotating plant and high-value project deliveryStrong communication, negotiation, and commercial skills with a solid grasp of contract termsProven ability to manage projects exceeding $2M, including cost control, reporting, and scope managementExperienced in leading estimating, tendering, and contract development processesWillingness to travel to sites as needed to support project deliveryWhat we offer you:Job security with a robust pipeline of projects across major industries like heavy manufacturing, mining and power generation.Career growth with clear pathways for progression.Annual salary reviews and competitive bonus scheme.Car allowance and secure on-site parking to support your daily work needs.A chance to work on diverse, high-impact projects that will enhance your skillsNo visa or work permit support can be provided for this roleDo you have a question about the role?Reach out to Georgia Narayan at Georgia.Narayan@sulzer.com or Hiring Manager Christopher Goldthorpe.
