This growing GOLD company is looking for an experienced financial accountant with a technical audit background to join the team reporting to the FC.The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years within audit from public practice paired with another 3-5 years of commercial / technical financial accounting. This could be within a listed miner or a large company with complex reporting requirements. A strong communicator and leader will help as this has 2 direct reports and will work with a range of managers across the business.Responsibilities:Oversee a financial and assistant accountant day to day.Manage, drive and maintain financial reports and statutory requirements.Oversee the fixed asset register.Oversee the monthly reporting for JV.Review general ledger, balance sheet and P&L statement.Oversee ASX reporting and Qtrly requirements.Provide tax work papers and compliance with the Tax Manager.Manage external audits and deadlines.Experience:3-5 years within Audit + 3-5 years in a commercial accounting role.Technical / statutory / financial accounting experience required.Mining or large mining services is key to an interview.Experience within an ASX company is a MUST HAVE.Salary:AU$150000 - AU$180000 per annum + Benefits & Bonus AvailableLocation:West Perth, Perth, AustraliaJob Type:Full-TimeJob Ref:BBBH31258_1744101992Date Posted:Tue, 8 April 2025 #J-18808-Ljbffr
