The Role & OrganisationThis is a newly created role in this Tier-1 Financial Insititutional''s Risk Analytics & Insights Business Unit with a focus onthe management of data assets. In this role you willoversee data source systems, risks and incidents, capture, record and progress fixes for data issues for timely delivery of data reporting.The role also has an ongoing focus of providing source to target mapping, working with the developers on the design &build-up of data assets to meet the Group''s Risk Reporting & Insights requirements.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEngage with business clients to understand data requirements & document business objectives, requirements in/out of scope, risks, issues and challengesAnalyse source systems, existing Enterprise, Risk & other data sets to determine most appropriate data sources thatll meet customer requirementsAssess quality of determined data sets to identify gaps, issues and variances & document them as technical findingsDiscuss technical findings with clients, help them accept the variances or carry out more detailed analysis as requested by customers until agreed & signed off by themAssist in defining the data checks and reconciliations required to ensure quality of data solution deliveredPrepare test scripts, perform testing of data assets prior to production roll out to ensure customer requirements have been metPerform UAT & PIV of clients'' data assets for validity & accuracy to ensure output produced is in line with the previousreporting periodsDocument and investigate, track data issues identified to closureEstablish controls to ensure data produced is fit for purpose, test and validate the performance of these controlsSupport and drive the migration of legacy reporting processes to TableauRequirements:Solid understanding of Credit Risk ratios such as PD, LGD, EAD etc. and BASEL compliance requirementsProficiency in SAS, R, SQL, PL/SQL, Hive & UNIX shell scriptingProficiency in relational databases such as Teradata, big data platforms, such as Hadoop and visualisation tools such as TableauEffective communication skills to present in front of senior stakeholdersTertiary qualifications well regardedFor further information on this role or to confidentially apply, please send an up to date CV toeugenag@ethosbc.com.au or/and contactEugena Gongon02 8227 9200or apply directly via theApply for this jobbutton.
