The position reports directly to the Project Manager and involves liaising with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and Defence & Government staff nationally.Primary support is for the Australian Immigration and Border Protection Marine Department, with national support but concentrated in the NT. The role is based in Darwin and may require deployment at short notice.As the contracts expand, this role will support business development and operational functions.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and provision of operational requirements in line with contracts.Plan operational service delivery and logistics for client tasks.Manage SharePoint data and follow up with the Operations Manager.Maintain databases for sub-agents, suppliers, and port guides.Assist in planning and managing marine services operations.Support the implementation of operational plans as per contract.About YouTo succeed, you will have:Understanding of commercial logistics including transport, port services, warehousing, and distribution.Favourable experience in maritime logistics and vessel planning.Strong organizational and computer skills (MS Office).Knowledge of procurement, data entry, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable.Understanding of procurement concepts for business and customers.Experience with SAP is highly regarded. #J-18808-Ljbffr
