Youll work independently while also supporting our Payroll Manager, and step into that role as needed during periods of leave.This role plays an essential part in delivering timely and compliant payroll services. Youll be responsible for ensuring accurate calculations, maintaining employee records, meeting reporting requirements, and responding to employee enquiries with professionalism and care.Key responsibilitiesManage full-function payroll processing, including leave accruals, tax, superannuation, and terminationsMaintain accurate payroll data and employee records in MicropayEnsure compliance with relevant legislation, enterprise agreements, and internal policiesPrepare and lodge payroll-related statutory reports (e.g., PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax)Provide responsive support to employees, managers, HR and Finance teamsWhat were looking forMinimum 3 years of payroll experience in a medium to large organisationSolid understanding of payroll legislation, tax, and superannuation obligationsExperience with Micropay is highly desirableHigh attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to work autonomouslyExcellent communication skills and a professional, solutions-focused approachAt Diabetes Australia, were driven by purpose, and it shows in how we support our people.Autonomy + ownership this is YOUR patch, and well back your expertiseRoom to grow want to step up while the Payroll Managers away?
