The purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of a diverse range of immersive and visualization solutions to our clients. You will successfully plan, manage, and deliver projects to meet client requirements, build the visualisation and immersive technology pipeline by developing and capitalizing on technical leadership, and work with the team in ANZ and overseas. You will support your Visual Media colleagues, be resilient and adaptable to strive for innovation while maintaining outstanding project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate leads and develop compelling presentations to showcase our services and solutions that drive business growth.Work with the wider team to prepare immersive solution development methodologies and costs for proposals that align with client needs and budgets.Collaborate with engineering teams and clients to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.Continuously seek to expand knowledge and skills by staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technological advancements.Develop workflows to utilize our international teams when required.Develop solutions using Unreal Engine, blueprints, and sequencer.Create high-quality 3D models and assets using industry-leading software such as Autodesk 3ds Max, Adobe Suite, and advanced rendering tools.Demonstrate exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously.Minimum RequirementsAt least five years of experience in 3D visual effects, specializing in high-quality animation or interactive content creation, ideally in the AEC industry.Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and 3ds Max.Knowledge of Unreal Engine, including intermediate knowledge of blueprints or C++ for Unreal development and programming.Proficiency in real-time asset creation, modeling, lighting, post-processing, rendering, and optimization pipelines.Previous experience or interest in the engineering, construction, or environmental sector is a plus.Willingness to work closely with team members to deliver large projects.Ability to manage multiple client engagements and requests.A positive attitude and passion for learning.Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Digital Engineering tools (including Navisworks, Revit, Revitzo).Ability to interpret technical drawings with attention to detail.A portfolio showcasing your work.Willingness to be in a Jacobs office when required.Desirable SkillsExperience with Substance Designer/Painter for real-time PBR development.Experience developing for Virtual/Augmented/Mixed Reality for mobile or HMDs.Knowledge of plugins such as ForestPack, Railclone, Anima, Phoenix, Tyflow.Understanding of hardware and peripherals supporting VR/AR/MR experiences.Experience with Unity or Omniverse is beneficial but not essential.Experience with ESRI City Engine and CGA.Our Culture and BenefitsAt Jacobs, belonging isn''t just valued it''s our foundation for excellence.
