In this role, you will be pivotal in driving talent management, employee engagement, performance and organisational development, ensuring that our people strategies and initiatives contribute to the overall success and growth of the company. You will be a positive ambassador for the company and a positive agent for change.What You Will Be DoingCollaborate with business leaders to understand their objectives and execute various people strategies that support achieving these goalsProvide insights and recommendations on people matters, ensuring alignment with business prioritiesLead talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding, to attract and retain top talentDevelop and implement various talent attraction strategies leveraging our Employee Value PropositionWork collaboratively with the L&D Manager and L&D Specialists to develop and implement talent development programs, including training, mentoring, and other career development initiativeFoster a positive and inclusive work environment by implementing employee engagement programs and initiativesConduct regular employee feedback surveys and develop action plans in collaboration with leaders to address areas of improvementOversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanismsProvide coaching and support to managers and employees to enhance performance and address any performance-related issues in line with legislation and processesDrive organisational change initiatives, including restructuring, culture transformation, and process improvements as identifiedSupport leadership development programs to build strong leadership capabilities within the organisationEnsure compliance with employment laws and regulations by developing and embedding people policies and procedures within the businessProvide guidance and support to managers and employees on people-related matters, ensuring adherence to company policies and legislative requirementsAddress employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handlingPromote a culture of open communication and trust within the organisation.What You Need To Bring To The RoleWorking knowledge of the Fair Work Act and other employment related legislationProven experience partnering with business stakeholders as a trusted partnerPrevious experience in managing the employee lifecycleStrong interpersonal and communication skillsStrategic thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.What''s in it for you?Hybrid working arrangementTraining and career development opportunitiesInvolvement in high-visibility/ high-impact projectsWellbeing focus including the ability to purchase leave, and birthday leave.About Smarter CommunitiesSmarter Communities Limited is one of the largest privately owned community management companies in Australia.
