Software Development Engineer in Testing IIIJoin to apply for the Software Development Engineer in Testing III role at AmTrust Financial Services, Inc.OverviewAs a Software Development Engineer in Test, your responsibility will be working with software engineers to build advanced test suites, create new test harnesses, automate testing, and develop automated test systems to validate the functional correctness and performance of our software, as well as their interaction with other systems and infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and write code in C# / VB.NET with Visual Studio.Execute automated tests across multiple environments and browsers.Expand automation frameworks to add new test capabilities.Design, code, and document automated test cases within a defined framework to ensure product quality.Translate manual regression test cases into automated tests.Maintain and execute automated functional, regression, acceptance, and performance tests.Collaborate with QA manual testers for regression and functional testing when new changes are introduced.Analyze systems to identify areas for improvement.Perform diagnostic analysis and troubleshoot complex software issues.Enhance automated test frameworks for higher throughput and flexibility.Maintain understanding of QA workflows, automation best practices, and agile methodologies.Stay proficient with systems, tools, and processes within the Technology department.Perform other related duties as needed.Qualifications5+ years of experience in the field, with 2+ years in a senior/lead role.Familiarity with software automation concepts, practices, and procedures.Ability to manage multiple projects with specific instructions.Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative and independent work.Prioritization and deadline management skills.Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.Excellent planning and organizational skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience testing complex web-based and data-driven applications.Knowledge of SDLC; application processing knowledge preferred.Experience with SQL programming and database technologies.What We OfferCompetitive compensation, career growth opportunities, and benefits including Medical & Dental, Life Insurance, Flexible Spending, 401k, and Paid Time Off.
