Backed by a strong pipeline of work, they operate across ASP1 to ASP3 services, substations, private HV networks, BESS, renewable energy connections, microgrids and data centre builds.With an expanding internal design team, theyre now looking for a Mains Design Manager to lead a group of engineers focused on certified ASP3 designs.What youll be doing:Leading and supporting a team of four Design Engineers.Overseeing drafting, progress claims, EOTs, variations and RFIsManaging workload and subcontract design partners during peak demandProviding technical direction and troubleshooting to keep designs movingLiaising with customers, suppliers and DNSP certifiers (Ausgrid, Transgrid, Endeavour)Ensuring commercial outcomes are met across design and delivery stagesWhat were looking for:Background in electrical engineering and ASP3 / Level 3 designFamiliar with DNSP standards and the design certification processStrong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to problem solvingGreat communicator across internal and external stakeholdersConfident managing timelines, design output and commercial riskThis is a great role for someone who enjoys mentoring others, thinking commercially and solving technical challenges.
