Our client is a well-established, privately owned organisation that specialises in high performance industrial coatings and related solutions that protect and repair machinery, structures, plant, and equipment from corrosion, wear, abrasion, and chemical attack. The organisation operates through a network of state-based branches and employs a specialist team across Australia, many of whom have been with the business long term. Currently, there is an opportunity to join the team in the role of Technical Sales Representative QLD.Reporting to the Managing Director, some of your key areas of focus and involvement will include:Maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective customers throughout Central QLD and the broader QLD region;Actively prospecting for new business to drive growth;Booking and conducting face-to-face meetings with clients to understand their needs and challenges;Providing product solutions and recommendations based on client needs and observations;Preparing quotations and responding to tenders and inquiries promptly;Overseeing the timely delivery of projects;Assisting in the preparation of safety and quality documentation; andMaintaining accurate customer records, forecasting, and providing regular market updates to management.Required Experience:Prior sales, account management, customer service, or relevant technical experience, preferably within the industrial sector;Highly motivated, eager to learn, and career-oriented;Customer-focused with strong written and verbal communication skills;Well-developed time management and problem-solving skills;Reliable, hardworking, and capable of working independently or as part of a team;Proficient computer skills and the ability to quickly learn technical information.Benefits:Be part of an established and long-serving national team;Take over and grow an existing customer base;Performance-based commission structure top performers earn $250,000 - $300,000 p.a.How to Apply:To submit an application, please click below.
