Remarkable people, trusted by clients to design and advance the world.Wood is seeking expressions of interest for Mechanical and/or Piping Designers of all levels and experience to join our operations team based in Gladstone.ResponsibilitiesExecute discipline input to engineering projects.Organize, execute, and coordinate assignments within the agreed budget and schedule.Ensure safe project execution and adherence to Safety in Design requirements.Perform role-specific accountabilities based on experience level.Contribute to innovative solutions to meet project objectives.Develop and document technically sound, fit-for-purpose solutions.Liaise, support, and transfer information to other disciplines and functions in a timely manner.Manage Change processes effectively.Work within Wood''s Quality Assurance systems to ensure quality standards are met.QualificationsWhat makes you remarkable?Associate or Advanced Diploma or equivalent in 3D/2D Mechanical/Piping design/drafting.Design drafting experience with proven expertise, preferably in the Oil & Gas or Mining/Mineral sectors.Experience may include conceptual, FEED, detailed design, and site construction.Experience in design, operation, construction/commissioning, and general engineering of oil and gas, metals/mining plant facilities.Effective communication and interfacing skills with other disciplines, project managers, and clients representatives.Understanding and application of applicable Australian and International Codes & Standards.Proficiency in E3D (PDMS) software; other 3D software includes Smartplant and Microstation.Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD.Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.If you are an experienced Mechanical/Piping Designer ready for your next project, we are eager to hear from you today.Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity!About UsWood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
