Job Title

Achieve the defined objectives for the assigned project, within the terms and conditions of the project, whilst implementing Company policy and procedural requirements.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage railway signalling projects from inception to completion.Support Sales in promoting and developing the signalling businessDevelop project plans, schedules, and budgets.Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring milestones are met.Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.Prepare and present project reports and documentation.Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.Assist in the design, development, and implementation of railway signalling systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Maintain project documentation and records.Being the main point of contact with clients for technical and organizational issuesCoordinating the process to obtain and maintaining the signalling certificationTechnical Skills, Qualifications and Professional ExperienceBachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.Proven experience in managing and working on railway signalling projects.Strong leadership and communication skills.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, etc)Knowledge of railway signalling systems and standards.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.At least 5 years of Industry experienceAt least 3 years of experience in similar role and/or as Project Engineer on railway signalling projectsManaged Complex Projects above 10M in budgetProficient knowledge of Office ToolsPMP Certified is preferredProficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.Strong analytical and technical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamMermec is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.
