As well as a flexible and fun workplace, we offer competitive benefits including additional leave entitlements, personal & professional development and health & wellbeing programs.The RoleWere looking for well-versed Quality Assurance Manager to take the lead in establishing and evolving our quality assurance practices within the Engineering and Infrastructure team in a 12-month contract role. As the first hire dedicated to the QA function, you will be responsible for creating a robust Test Governance Framework and setting guidelines that will serve as a foundation for all testing activities. Acting as a centre of excellence, the QA Manager will ensure the adoption of best practices across the team and provide expertise to other business units.The role encompasses both manual and automated testing, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and reliability across systems and processes as an SME.What youll do:Develop, implement, and refine quality assurance strategies, standards, and processes and define and maintain the Test Governance Framework to uphold consistency and best practices across testing functions.Ensure comprehensive test coverage across all development projects, including functional, performance, security, and regression testing.Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate QA into project timelines, ensuring adherence to deliverable schedules without compromising quality.Lead, mentor, and develop a QA/Test Engineer, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Oversee the design, implementation, and execution of manual and automated testing processes to ensure product quality.Stay abreast of emerging QA technologies and trends, incorporating advancements to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.Ensure the integration of QA workflows with DevOps practices, emphasising CI/CD pipelines and automation.Prepare detailed reports for leadership, highlighting QA achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.About YouAn accomplished QA professional, you will bring the following key skills:Extensive experience in quality assurance within software developmentProficiency with industry-standard testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, and Postman etc.Hands-on experience in automating test scripts and implementing CI/CD pipelines for streamlined testing processes.Expertise in analysing test results and defect trends to inform decision-making and prioritise fixes.Skill in preparing detailed reports for leadership, highlighting QA achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.Strong collaboration skills with the ability to problem solve and design and implement innovative testing solutions tailored to complex systems.Advanced knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies to align QA processes with iterative development cycles.Deep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and the ability to integrate QA best practices throughout.Understanding of Superannuation, QA Certifications and experience in AWS cloud are nice to have but not essential.If you are looking for a long-term contract where you can leave a lasting impression in a period of growth and technical transformation, we would love to hear from you.We are a super fund that has an exceptional work culture, provides a diverse offering in developing our people and you can be a part of it while earning an attractive remuneration package!Interested and suitably qualified candidates should submit a copy of their updated CV.Please note that to be eligible for this role, you are required to have permanent Australian working rights and residency.We are an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a workplace that values diversity, equity, and respect for all individuals.Seniority levelSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeEmployment typeContractJob functionJob functionQuality AssuranceReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at NGS Super by 2xSign in to set job alerts for Quality Assurance Manager roles.Rydalmere, New South Wales, Australia 1 week agoBankstown, New South Wales, Australia 2 weeks agoQuality Assurance Manager -
