Join our Data Platforms team in our Digital Bank and help us build the best technology business in financial services. Youll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone contributes ideas and drives outcomes, regardless of role.What role will you play?As an experienced Data Engineer, you will play a key role in building, implementing, and enhancing enterprise-scale data solutions. You will work in a DevOps environment with end-to-end accountability for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting data assets, creating templates, and establishing standards and frameworks.You will develop high-quality, low-maintenance software solutions for our customers, coordinate requirements, schedules, activities, contribute to team meetings, peer code reviews, and testing. There will be opportunities to learn from senior developers about products and solutions serving multiple businesses.What you offer5+ years of enterprise engineering experience in a mature cloud environment like AWS, GCP, or AzureExperience developing code-based ETL/ELT data pipelines with performance-optimized data modeling, preferably in banking or financial servicesStrong hands-on coding ability in PythonSolid experience in writing complex SQL queries and Data Definition Language (DDL)Proven expertise in data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniquesProficiency in data formatting, wrangling, and preparationExperience with analytics, denormalization of data, large views, and reportingExperience building and deploying data lakes and warehouses on GCP using services like BigQuery, Dataform/DBT, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Functions, and GCS is a plus but not mandatoryEffective communication skills with both business and technical colleaguesWe welcome applications from anyone inspired to build a better future with us.
