This role will play a fundamental role in growing and leading the strategic direction for the Digital insights function across Digital Commerce teams and wider commercial function. Provide actionable insights around price, assortment, and space to optimize the perfect digital store and benchmark offline vs. online.Drive strategic initiatives and thought leadership to inform channel strategy across eGrocery, Pureplay, and Rapid Delivery to drive commercial outcomes for the business.Act as a key business partner to evaluate new eCommerce opportunities, support online joint business plans, and create strategic partnerships with retailers.Leverage shopper and path-to-purchase data to provide clear, concise, and credible commercial insights with the eCommerce trading team to boost conversion, basket, and sales.Support the eCommerce team in building business cases, conducting competitor benchmarking, and sizing the impact of potential opportunities.Deliver insights on the shopper journey to complement commercial actions and identify opportunities in collaboration with retailers.Lead external engagement with key customers and develop internal toolkits of eCatman insights that answer fundamental questions sought out by retailers.Serve as the product owner of the data lake by streamlining all third-party reports and dashboards to create one view of the omni and digital path to purchase.QualificationsAbout you:Essential Experience / Job KnowledgeTertiary qualification in marketing / commerce economics / business (or equivalent)Proven analytical thinking and innovation ability; analysing information logically to inform evidence-based decision-makingExperience in effective communication to deliver insights and recommendations to key stakeholders in a simple and effective manner, across multiple communication mediums (e.g., data visualisation, reports, etc.)Proven tech-savviness; anticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology applications to shed new insights about the channel, consumer, and shopper.Prior experience in digital or insights preferable, category experience highly regarded - developing and aligning category strategies to deliver growth and profitability.Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative, fast-paced retail environmentPreferable Experience / Job Knowledge3-5 years of FMCG experienceExperience with syndicated research shopper data sources (e.g., Shopper Tracker)Strong influencing, communication/presentation & team working skillsStrong experience in activating analytical insights and research with internal stakeholders & customers for tangible commercial resultsProven ability to develop good working relationships both internally and externallyAbout usJoin us and work with iconic brands like Doritos, Gatorade, Pepsi Max, Smiths Chips, Red Rock Deli, Twisties, Quaker Oats, and Bluebird NZ.Recognised as a Top Employer in Australia and New Zealand for the past 4 yearsFamily Friendly Certification (AU)Australian Disability Network MemberPepsiCo is dedicated to sustainability with initiatives like EV chargers, net-zero energy efficiency, hydro trucks, and net-zero water usage.
