SESLHD is committed to improving the care provided to our patients in line with our vision of Working together to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.In this pivotal leadership role, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing & Support Services, providing strategic and operational support across key areas such as nursing governance, clinical safety, workforce planning, and organisational initiatives.As a senior member of the nursing leadership team, you will play an integral role in executive decision-making and lead projects that strengthen hospital-wide operations enhancing both patient outcomes and staff experience.The Nurse Manager Executive Support reports directly to the Director of Nursing & Support Services and contributes to the delivery of safe, effective care through strong leadership, oversight of nursing governance, and alignment with both local and state health priorities.Key Responsibilities IncludeProviding strategic nursing leadership and executive-level operational support.Implementing and monitoring key nursing initiatives aligned with SESLHD and NSW Health priorities.Driving excellence in clinical governance, patient safety, quality standards and workforce capability.Preparing and presenting executive-level reports, briefings, and project updates.Collaborating across clinical teams and corporate services to achieve integrated patient care outcomes.Representing nursing services on hospital committees, including safety and quality, workforce, and strategic planning groups.Where Youll Be WorkingAs Australias oldest hospital, Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospital proudly combines a rich heritage with a commitment to innovation and clinical excellence.
