Senior Data Engineer - Daily-rate Contract - 3 days per week onsite, 2 from homeEngagement: Initial 6-month contractResponsibilities:Design, build, and maintain scalable, cost-effective data pipelines and environments within the Enterprise Data Lake (AWS EDL).Ensure seamless integration and data flows between the EDL, Data Warehouses, and other platforms.Support data ingestion, transformation, governance, and automation to ensure high data quality, security, and performance.Collaborate with the Data Science team on advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.Develop and manage AWS-based data pipelines using tools like S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and Athena.Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) with AWS CDK for automation and scalability.Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure high availability of data operations.Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards.Qualifications:Additional AWS certifications like AWS Certified Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Associate, or similar are a plus.5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and transformation.Extensive experience with AWS data services: S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and Athena.Familiarity with AWS CDK for infrastructure automation.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesTechnology, Information and Media #J-18808-Ljbffr
