Monash is a cosmopolitan and culturally diverse city located in the eastern region, close to the demographic centre of Melbourne.About The RoleThe Digital and Technology (DT) Project Manager will work within the digital transformation team to enhance project delivery services. You will work closely with organisational change, communications, and workforce leads and use your broad Project Management experience to establish a robust project management methodology. You will lead the people, change and process perspectives and contribute to delivering a new and unified service delivery operating model for multiple functional areas of the Council.The ideal candidate will have exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt and coach modern Agile, DevOps approaches. Lead Project Teams and Project planning sessions, articulating specific project details, milestones, and deliverables. Participate in Tender processes, including develop, submission, application review, procurement process, and preparing reports for Council, providing articulate and understandable information.What You Will BringSignificant extensive experience and a track record as a Project Manager in large, complex environmentsProject Management qualifications Prince2/PMPExperience in project delivery in DevOps environmentExperience in managing resources and budgetsProcurement and system selection experienceExcellent ability to establish effective relationships with all TI Programs/Project stakeholders to ensure collaboration and understanding, whilst fostering and sustaining strategic partnerships across teams, Directorates and the broader organisation clusterChange management experience working with people to embrace technology.7 + years substantial experience in a similar position managing technology projects, leading people, with the capability to work outside of scope if necessaryA current and valid Victorian Driver LicenceRequirementsRight to work in AustraliaEmployee Working with Childrens CheckSatisfactory National Police CheckOther pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirementsBenefitsAs a City of Monash employee, your personal and professional development is a key focus for us.
