This role will see you working across various aspects of our newly renovated Maternity Unit consisting of 40 beds and 7 birthing suites. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering comprehensive, evidence-based midwifery care to our mothers and families, in line with the core values and strategic direction. Acting in a professional manner when dealing with the health care team, patients, their families, and the wider community, you will facilitate and promote patient safety and quality care.Reporting to the Clinical Maternity Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.Skills And ExperienceRegistration with AHPRA as a Registered MidwifeRecent experience working within labour, antenatal or postnatal outpatient care.Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to Midwifery practice in the workplaceDemonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)Willingness to accept and promote Ramsays core valuesA keen interest in antenatal and postnatal education.Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster is essential for this role.RemunerationOn offer is base hourly salary ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
