Your dedication to safety and quality aligns with KBRs mission of providing reliable and innovative solutions for critical infrastructure and operational readiness.This is a contingent position based upon contract awardWhat You''ll DoIn the role of HVAC Technician, Journeyman, your duties will include:Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs.Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.Other duties as requiredRequirements:Must be a US or Australian citizenMust have a US TS/SCI Clearance w/ Poly, or an Australian PV clearanceMust have a minimum of five years of HVAC technician experienceMust have a Journeyman HVAC License, or Australian equivalentStrong problem-solving and communication skills.Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.Desired Qualifications:Refrigeration RecoveryThis role will be located in Alice Springs, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space.
