Were looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional to assist and support our project manager, estimator, company president, and project team in organizing and moving jobs forward efficiently.The ideal candidate is confident reading roadway blueprints, assisting with estimating and contract scopes, and maintaining smooth communication, schedules, and documentation between the field and office. This hands-on support role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being part of a tight-knit team.Key Responsibilities:Assist with job scheduling, project documentation, and internal communicationRead and interpret plans, blueprints, and scopes of workSupport take-offs, estimating tasks, and procurement coordinationHelp review and track contract scopes; flag issues for PM or leadership when neededMonitor daily logs and field reports; organize timecards for payrollAssist with materials ordering, pre-billing, and project closeout paperworkAnswer phones, respond to emails, and provide professional customer serviceMaintain organized digital and physical recordsAssist with insurance certificates, change orders, and light HR tasks such as applicant outreach, onboarding, and employee supportCommunicate and follow up with field crews, vendors, and internal staffWhat Were Looking For:2+ years of experience in construction project support, estimating assistance, or APM coordinationStrong ability to read and understand roadway blueprints and specsFamiliarity with scopes of work, estimating terminology, and procurementOrganized, reliable, and skilled at keeping others on scheduleExcellent communication skills with strong customer service and multitasking abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Google Maps, Salesforce, or similar toolsKnowledge of prevailing wage, certified payroll, or OSHA safety is a plusIndustry Backgrounds:Pavement Striping, Commercial Paving, Roadway Layout & Safety, Site Work, Exterior Facilities Maintenance (Sweeping & Litter Control), Snow & Ice ManagementAdditional Notes:Part-time applicants will be considered if qualifiedBilingual applicants encouraged Spanish or Portuguese is especially helpfulWhy Join Mark-A-Lot, Inc.?Were a family-owned company with over 50 years of reputation for reliability, hard work, and quality.
