Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$90,000.00/yr - A$110,000.00/yrDirect message the job poster from Quinn AllanFantastic short-term contract role for an experienced accountant and Technology One specialist, to join a purpose led organisation.Work for a purpose driven organisation | Premium hourly rateSuper flexible when it comes to hybrid workingInner suburb location | Close to public transportAbout the CompanyQuinn Allan is proud to be partnering with a fantastic organisation in the Public Sector based in Melbourne, who are committed to improving the quality of life for thousands of Australians every year.About the PositionReporting to the Head of Finance, the Financial Accountant will support the team during the End of Financial Year period on an initial three-month contract.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to;Lead the preparation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of monthly management reports.Manage financial reporting requirements, both regular and ad-hoc, in collaboration with internal finance teams.Perform month-end close activities, including running financial system processes and posting journals; support audit and compliance efforts.Support and mentor finance team members, including training junior staff and building strong cross-functional relationships.About YouIdeally you will possess the following skills and experience.
