Join to apply for the Tax Accountant role at Hanes Brands Australasia12 hours ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Tax Accountant role at Hanes Brands AustralasiaTax Accountant | Hanes Australasia | KewReporting to the Tax Manager, we are on the search for a Tax Accountant to support the Tax Manager in coordinating tax compliance obligations for the Hanes Australasia group.This role offers excellent exposure to a broad range of tax issues, both local and international, as well as opportunities for professional development and mentoring. Youll be joining a collaborative Finance team, working closely with the business and US tax team as well as liaising with external tax advisors.The core responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to:Assist with the preparation of income tax returns, PAYG instalments, BAS, FBT returns, and withholding tax paymentsAssist with the preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation, International Dealings Schedules, Country-by-Country reporting files, CFC attribution calculations and thin capitalisation calculationsAssist with global tax compliance, structuring projects, and business acquisitions/disposalsAssist with tax reviews and auditsAssist with research & development claimsAssist with system and process improvement initiativesPrepare tax disclosures in statutory accountsMaintain tax governance processes, procedures, and controlsSupport tax training across the organisation and monitor current developments in taxManage the document management system for the tax functionWhat skills do I have?An accounting degree is essential, CA or CPA preferred but not essential3 years technical accounting and/or tax experience (Corporate or large accounting firm)Strong written and verbal communication skillsHighly organised with strong attention to detail and problem solving skillsLoads of initiative with a proactive attitude and commitment to ongoing professional development in taxationWhat''s in it for me?Who wouldn''t want to be part of HanesBrands?
