Add expected salary to your profile for insightsAbout the roleReporting to the Sales Manager in WA, this full-time Product Support Advisor role will be responsible for providing technical support and product expertise to Austin Engineering''s mining and resource clients across Western Australia. You will be based in our Perth office withregular site travel and play a key part in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and get the most out of our industry-leading products.What you''ll be doingServing as the primary technical contact for clients, responding to inquiries and troubleshooting product issues in a timely mannerProviding training and guidance to customers on the proper operation and maintenance of our mining equipmentLiaising with our engineering and manufacturing teams to communicate customer feedback and requirementsPreparing technical documentation and user manuals to support the implementation and use of our productsIdentifying opportunities to improve our product offerings and customer service based on client needsMaintaining detailed records of all customer interactions and support activitiesWhat we''re looking forPreferably, minimum 3 years'' experience in a technical support or product advisor role, ideally within the mining equipment industryTertiary qualification in a relevant technical discipline such as Fabrication Boilermaker/ Heavy Fabrication trade qualified certifications/ qualifications or Engineering degree, essentialStrong understanding of the design, operation, specification and maintenance of heavy mining equipment and its fabricationExperience fitting dump truck trays and excavator/loader bucketsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clientsAbility and willingness to provide support to our resource clients outside of normal business hours over the phone, if requiredDemonstrated ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical or product issuesSkilled at translating technical information into easy-to-understand guidance for customersWhat we offerAt Austin Engineering, we''re committed to providing our employees with a supportive and engaging work environment.
